Any one else tried one of these yet I am qute impresed straight out of the box

It has propper wheels hollow axles vac form interior twin traction magnets and decent gears .
While the twin mag set up at first apears a bit OTT it doesnt overpower the motor and also allows the car to drift nicely when pushed to the limmit .These cars are on special at pendle at the moment and represent great value ,why cant all manufacturers build cars like this its not rocket science

Graham & Charlie - Y'all are absolutely right on these Spirit cars - even those that "disdain" magnets and run on plastic will be very happy with these cars. Fast down the straights and very nice handling thru the turns...the transition from the "magnetic" to the "mechanical" grip is seamless...sliding nicely and if you do blow the turn they merely deslot...

Glad you're still enjoying the pair Charlie - though I do notice the Reynard is going thru some aero testing minus the rear wing

look close you'll that many slot-it parts can be used on 'racer' reynard and dallara. motor pod and magnets come to mind. for more magnetic grip either slot-it small size magnet is easy fit. though the 'race' maget does drag the motor pretty hard.
note that using slot-it motor pod will, more or less, require using slot it axles/wheels.

"aha but where does it come compared to the slot it R8 and the fly evo2?"

I know the Audi with the same motor in is slower on a routed track and the Fly Evo2 (no brakes) gets left way behind. Tested the Rynard on plastic track as well and with good results, needs a bit of running in and the motor pod run loose and P3's on the back.........oh and without magnets!!

Changes direction really well and the motor just gets quicker and quicker, a little 3-in-1 in the motor really helps. The Dellara is awesome as well.
