I am using PBProSH and SSDCv4.

I have been running cars around the track and they have recorded laps and times as one vehicle (sometimes 2 or 3) and burning fuel as another?

Eg. Red car ID1 - burns fuel as red1 but records laps as orange2 and occassionally blue5 or white6.

What is going on? How do I fix it?

btw.I have cleaned the track and sensors and stopped using so much inox.

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What happens if you just run one car at a time - is everything behaving correctly?

hi
first thing i would do is vacum the pb section as dust can play havoc with lap times and car id's..If problem still exists make sure wich ever revision chip you are using that the braids are neat and tidy.

Also to much inox is a no no.When i fisrt got mine i swamped one of the clc and it packed up.Worked ok again once it was flushed with electrical switch cleaner.

If none of the above is successfull it might be worth re flashing the firmware in the pb...

Hi,

The problem occurs even when running only one car and occurs when using different cars DPR and Porsche Boxster so I don't think it is the car though I haven't checked chip versions.
I have cleaned and vaccumed but I am testing it in half in and half out of my garage so it is not clinically clean!

I have re- calibrated the throttles which seems to have improved things but not eradicated the problem!

Any further suggestions or do you need to run these things in a theatre environment?

I also run PBProSH and SSDC v.4.6.7 and have seen a similar problem some time ago when trying to equalize fuel consumption among several cars by test runs of one car at a time. Although car IDs were not problematic, fuel and lap recording was inconsistent and jumped from one car to another.

After much frustration, I found that when setting Race parameters it is critical to make sure they match each car in the SSDC Database regarding Controller number/car ID, car/controller color, fuel, etc. exactly (as color to controller relationship is locked in via Database, but fuel consumption is independently specified by Fuel Burn Rate in the Database and tank size in Race Settings). Once all the cars' specs were matched in both places, the problem went away.
