the src motor pod for theF1,s is a slightly canted motor pod with i presume crown gears.. whats the idea behind this. the info is on the electric dreams site. the F1.s are resin and cost$200 and the plastic bodies[porshe] are $100. john

I assumed it was so they could get a full driver figure in as it effectively makes the motor shorter.

The angle of the moYor certainly isn't enough to get any other benefits from an anglewinder set up.

I'm guessing that it's the same arrangement as the Fly Williams, to allow the use of a small gear to retain scale rear body work?

All those gears must create more friction and something else to go wrong. Could be a way to get a differential in. Now there's a thgought !

info on the current electric dreams email. that fly must be a bitch, to set the gear backlash on. john
