ive seen pics of the inside of one of the controllers, now looking at it its an 85k resistor, and a very small one. surely with this low an ohmage then you could easily mod the controller with a pot from maplins or somtheing?

On my carrera set, using a variable power supply has the effect of changing the cars response. If I increase the voltage, I find myself driving in the lower part of the throttle sweep, although it is probably still linear, just makes it feel more sensitive.

Perhaps a variable power supply will provide suitable results.
