Balu and Blackpainter have the idea to organize a Scalextric Digital event.
We would like to confirm how much interest there is to attend an event of this nature.
Our idea is to get together with interested SSD drivers and racers. Following are our thoughts on how this event would be structured. Number one priority is to have fun. The plan would be to begin the event in the afternoon and continue until every one is ready to stop for the day. Due to the time some will need to drive we will provide recommendations for over night accommodations. Camping is available for those who wish. We are a group of SSD racers. We drive the cars without magnets. For the event we will have races and time for open driving. The Raceway Eukradohr has a length of 60 meters, approximately 200 feet.

We use PB Pro SH for the track and SSDC software. There will be space provided for preparing your car and there will be PB to check the car and attach the ID's.
Perhaps we will build a smaller track for test driving. Location will be in Germany Postcode(41849) Wassenberg near the frontier
of the Netherlands. Next larger train station is in Duesseldorf. Closet airport is in Duesseldorf or Maastricht/Aachen (NL/D).

Hi Guys

some words for planning our event.
The location is at a Motorcycle Workshop. The room where the Slotcartrack stay is closed by. If you will come with a motorcycle you have Balu as Motocycle Specialist for small talk too. Also closed by is the pub of Balu`s wife. A really nice Pub. So alltogether is a perfect location for a SSD Event.

It exists a lot of event`s for Carrera slotcardriver but for SSD it is rare. So we have the idea to come together for race and multiple conversations around our hobby and perhaps more ... .

About us: We enjoin driving and racing without magnets. Our cars are made by NSR, Slotit, Ninco and Scalectric.
But Magnet Racer also welcome.

There are analog events with us some. In addition comes in Germany most with Carrera Digital. We would simply like to know sometimes who has interest in an event SSD on our Track. Every Friday we go with from two to eight people.
Besides, the idea of the survey has originated un would like to give simply other the opportunity sometimes with us to drive.
The whole one has no commercial reason. It is only about the fun and the sociability

there exist enouigh Analog Events. The Track is a two lane track. Two cars on it it is boring.
With 6 cars on the TRack that`s a lot of for race. It was an idea to bring Scalectric users and racers together.
We prefer SSD.

I am interested. I have a 19 m. SSD track and race very other week with a group of 4-6 drivers. This is fun, but I would love to join some event, but over here (th eMetherlands) they are all analog. I am thinking of organising something small scale in the Netherlands for digital in the future, but since you are just across the border, I think It would be fun to come over with a car full off enthusiastic SSD drivers and have a good time. We mainly race with magnets, but trying magless once in a while. I do like F1 and think F1 cars should be driven with magnets in. On the other hand, It's your event, just taking part is already fun enough, no matter what type of car. Are you thinking about team races, or individual ? Longer endurances, or shorter GP's ? Keep us posted.

Hello Minardi, like we the runnings form is not fixed yet, we will try so far it is to be considered Possibly your interests. If to her only with magnets drive this is no problem. We the Track have built without R1 around this easier to go without magnets.

if you liked to come driving we can make already sometimes on Saturday or Sunday. With your interests there stands Feyenoord if you at close range from Rotterdam come these are about 200 km up to me.

We are happy to meet on a Saturday or Sunday and make some races.
Until now I have only on Saturda 10.11.2012 and Weekend 01/02.12.2012 an appointment
What date is best for you? then I can tell you how many of us can.

Hi thoefnagel,
we welcome anyone who wants to ride with us. I have some friends who go to ijsselmeer surfing(A slottrack you can build almost anywhere, but to surfing you just need the water, and the sea it is for us almost far away. ). They drive about 2.5 hours. When I type in the navigation Urk, he calculated 235km approx. We are about 15 km from Roermond.
