I have not seen any updates to SSDC v5.4.2.0 in a long time (about 4 months). Andrew was pumping them out about every 3 weeks prior to the last release. Is he ok?

Did Andrew stop making SSDC or had he taken a well earned break from development?

Thank you,
Glenn

hi
there is always a quiet spell with ssdc development round the summer time as Andy follows his other interests.

The whole slot community slows down a lot in the summer months even this forum iis quiet at this time of year.

Ssdc is certainly not dead on progress just stalled for the time being, updates will be seen again probably in the autum or fall depending on pond direction.

That's good. I really like the software. His additions over time have been a great improvement. I have Pit-pro, APB v1.09, and In-Car Pro, It is awsome. I really like the "fuel by pressing the button" and being able to place the Pit-pro anywhere on the track while using pace cars.

Andrew is the bomb!!!!

Bigbird,

I run high resistant porsche 911s. They do not have lights (or any frills). Which is fine with me. There will always be some type of accident, even with the most careful racers.

I do like the lights both front and back. The braking feature is awsome. It looks very realastic, but my skills are not good enough to solder the connections for the DPR chip. I messed-up 3 chips trying to convert them to In Car-Pro.

I was considering the controllers for the braking adjustments. I really don't know much about the controllers. What other adjustments that could be made manually using the controller?

Thanks,
Glenn

hi
To be honest Glenn if you want the full icp experience i would give the dpr chip a miss, there are too my knowledge only two or three people that have used these succesfully, they are a pig to solder to for the lighting options and you have to remove the chip board from the dpr trapdoor to be able to do all thats needed.

I have now had converted all my lmp and sports gt cars from dpr to the retro solder in saloon chip and they are fab.

The throttle pro units are at the moment able to offer on the fly braking and switch the head and taillights on or off,the brake lights remane in operation regardless off settings.

There are plans for the tp units to soon be able to use the red button as a kers fearure, this is being tested at the moment.

To enable the above options you need to check the aux transmit box wich is within ssdc, from memory the setting is under the chequered flag icon.

At the moment icp is at V3 and when you id a car in ssdc the cars lights flash three times to say that the id has been done and to say what version you are running.
