I have a question related to SSDC throttle usage on a C7042 base, and couldn't find anything on the general thread:

Background: We have had to use the Calibrate Throttle function on the C7042 as some of the track throttles were not producing full power (full resistance), and others were giving a small amount of power to the car even when the throttle was released. Calibration corrected this problem.

Question: Does SSDC V5 use the calibrated values for each throttle?

It has an automated calibration routine that sorts out the throttles for you.

Thanks for the clarification - but I'm still confused as to how it would automatically calibrate throttles, which have varying resitance.

I'm new to the Slotforum. Should this topic be posted somewhere else?

Anyway, the real issue is that we are struggling to find the SSDC option combination which produces the same feel as driving with a stand alone C7042. For example: What are the SSDC Throttle type and brake settings that equal (feel the same as) driving with a stand alone C7042 with dynamic brakes set on?
