I'm not even posting this in News. It will be interesting to see if Scalextric update their box illustrated in the 2004 catalogue featuring the original pair.

Jonny, could you give the slacks back to Scott, they've got to be infinitely better than the yellow pedal-pushers that he wears when he comes racing!

Maybe it's something to do with the Conservative Club?????

Now where did I leave that Satsuma?

Its worth mentioning that the Starsky and Hutch Ford Torino is going to be the largest car that Scalextric have ever made.

You can all check your records if you like (where's Roger Gillham when you need him?) but believe me it is.

So its going to handle like a bus then but it will be excellent for knocking folk out of the way and staying in the slot!

It should win every race it enters on that basis!

"I Hope you didn't give those Scalextric reps present for the demo the wrong idea about how motorbikes handle on corners? You could have taken them just a little bit quicker!"

Just for Jonny S

I took this off the post above to speed up the loading time and because I posted it months back. You must have seen it in the 10 seconds it was up there today.

This is me, Goodwood Revival 2003. And your comment about just how big the parachute might be that could slow me down is both pertinent and not original. My favourite comment came form Mr Material who christened me Brownlee, Plummeteer 1st Class.

The other shot is my date for the day, otherwise know as Mrs Brownlee. Sadly, Penny, despite being a good double for a typical WW2 pilot's dog with an unPC name, was not allowed to come to the track with us.

Love it, made my day. I don`t feel so bad about the blue coveralls now.
I`ve never done Goodwood but I only hear good things about it.and I`m gonna fit it in asap.

I had a Denison smock for years. Ironic that the modern British army can`t supply clothing as good as WW2 issue.
We`d both need a couple of chutes mate,I`m no super model! Both my Mr and I have jumped but I`ve got more careful in my old age and keeping my feet on the ground nowadays

Can I borrow the female outfit for my other half some time? Only in the interests of historical rersearch of course

Wish they were ours! We hired them from a place in Southsea that supply a lot of stuff for movies, etc. run by a real charater. Fantastic value at something like £15 per uniform for over a week.

The Denison was the only thing in the stock to fit over me. As the owner said, "There was rationing during the war, sir".

For next year could go Japanese traditional...

I reckon you might fit into my Mess Dress? It`s hanging in the wardrobe so If you want to borrow it for the next one give me a shout. It`s well smart complete with medals and the girls love the boots and spurs mate!
