This says its SSD compatible, is it. It certainly does not look it!

It says its compatible with SCX digital system, not SSD. It refers to Technitoys Scalextric which is how SCX is known in Spain as they own the "Scalextric" name in Spain and are SCX to the rest of the world. Personally I would be wary of anything being compatible if it isn't from a known manufacturer unless a member on here can recommend it.

Am I the only one who gets sick to death of folk calling Ebay "Flea bay"?
I'm not saying it's without fault but the access it gives to items that were once unavailable is amazing.

Flea bay used as a term of enderarment. I use it a lot for lots od stuff not just slot cars. The add was confusing as it sai scalextric Digital and not SCX everywhere.

DJ, I think UshCha is being straight here. You've got my sympathy though, I get wound up by little kids (usualy who think of themselves as technogods because they have managed to install Ubuntu from a cd!) referring to Microsoft in derogetory terms - yep, business-wise a bit of a bunch of shysters, but without them, PCs wouldn't be nearly half so prevalent.
