Ok guys, its time to dust off the SG+'s the SRT's the Mega G's and the Marchon F1's for this, the first of the six round series.

Please remember this is esentially a stock class, running stock gearing on all chassis.

Plan to be there but I have meetings else where that day, so I might be a little late if they over run.

I am planning to be there, got my SG+ ready with my Mega-G as backup. Trying to sort a SRT before then as well. Don't have standard gearing for my Marchon though.

Looking forward to it.

What is the standard gearing for the SRT? The F1 chassis came with the Turbo gear mostly, but some later ones had a SGP gear fitted.

I'll be there, I will speak to Nick and Mark to see if they are interested (does anyone have SG+, Mega-G or SRT's for sale?). Looking forward to it.

Roy and I are working on a SG+ F1 and GpC package, which will give a Super F1 car and a Modified car

A currently produced HO chassis, great idea

Scalextric micro (not MR1) GT Challenge, everything stock except the tyres.

I can see it now, a field of :

Aston, Ferrari and Nissan, super cars on the grid

or

Audi TT and Porsche Boxters on the grid

Sorry to disapoint your masters at Race masters, but our mantra at SCHORC is to go with what we know. and what is readily available, for these very limited use events!

So a micro it will be

I have no idea what any of that means.

I can think of at least five current manufacturers, whilst all of your classes rely on platforms that increasingly don't fit the definition of readily available.

I love this idea massively!!

And on the subject of chassis currently being produced I can think of:-

Micro Scalextric
AFX
Autoworld (Paul's Auroworld sounded better!!)
LifeLike
JJ (whatever they're called things!)

Plus

BSRT
Wizzard
Slottech

So I make it 8!!
