Super Slot F1 performance

I've just ordered a Super Slot / Scalextric Renault R25 F1 car(C2649A) but haven't received it as yet. Can anyone tell me how this car performs ? I'm planning to chip it and run it on a Scaley Sport digital track, the only modifications allowed being the addition of weight and the changing of tyres.
