You nailed it. Due to laziness, I had updated the controller but not the car.

Updating the car to version 1.08, with the controller on 2.11 fixed everything. The power delivery is now smooth as silk.

I'm glad I posted this question before warming up the soldering iron again.

Been a while since anyone posted an addition to this list:

Tested for prolonged period with O201b1 chip @ 12 v with no dropouts.

Scaleauto Baby sprinter SC0027 18,000rpm
NSR Baby King 17,000 rpm

I just discovered this after about 5 years


Does not tell you what you can use as it is not Slot.it oXigen based however many of the usual motors are there. Does need a bit of language tolerance as it is in Spanish.

Divides motors into levels. Or more correctly assigns a level to each.
