The main straight...

Team Sauber await their drivers...

"So... where are the cars mate?"
"Some bloody big hand came out of the sky and took em!"
"erm..you been drinking? - I guess so, you just fell over mate"...

PS: thomas you were right! the pit walls DO need fixing! (blush)

Rear of the pits...

The final curve...

The last of the 'esses'...

Approach to the tunnel...

Well we had to put the last grandstand somewhere!...

Work courtesy of thomas, goods courtesy of thomas's wallet!

Oh, stop it with all these reasons to make another trip to Egg.

Looks great. Knowing the scale - by that I mean sheer enormity - of Suzuka I can imagine it looks fantastic. Carrera ought to send a team to cover it for their web site or brochure since I doubt anywhere else will make such good use of the buildings.

Cheers, Jim.
The red and white barriers are the new Carrera ones and should be easily available at your local stockist or online.
They are reasonable flexible and soak up a hard knock but do need resetting sometimes.
I find they do the job extremely well and are the best looking around although I have not tried to fit them to other track systems.

Scott - you need an excuse???? poor excuse in itself ....

Thomas, they musst love you at Carrera since I just ask my dealer in Lugano to get me the new red and white barriers but, after a phone call to the Swiss importer, he said that they will be available only later on next year.
I've found the Carrera buildings a little oversize for my track (which by the way just went from almost 18 m to a little more than 24m-pics soon to be published) but there they work really good.
Is there any way we could see a wide shot of all the track please?
Thanks
Best regards
Edo

Edo, I am sure they are out already, Mclaren states he had them but didn't like them so threw them away and Pendles show them in the lists.
Part numbers are:

15 Supports: 85206
Barrier in 5 foot lengths: 85207

Hope this helps.

Yes it is the highest part of the rally track, running but unfinished.
24 metres of two lane hell, it actually needs alot of reworking.

Yes they use new supports, no I don't have spare but you could email thomas?

The new supports look like this and there is even a tapered end piece..

The supports click onto the track with a retainer so are very strong, the barrier slides into the supports and is flexible as you can see.
