QUOTE (bensonsnuts @ 8 Aug 2012, 22:20) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Get yourselves organised and sign up as many enthusiasts as you can muster . Turn up with your surplus gear , however small or large an amount and buy sell and swap with each other .
Maybe find a venue where you can have a track set up . Make it a social occasion and make some new friends along the way .
I think Benson's hit the nail on the head - hire a hall and go for it.
Local papers and even radio stations are always starved of content (before, during and after your event) and if you put on racing in makes a nice picture for publicity purposes.
I'm a regular year-round Cornish visitor so PM me if you get close to a date and I'll see if I can help.
Best, Rob
