Table construction - angle iron frame opinions please

Looking for any opinions on the 4 foot x 8 foot table I'm looking at building.
I have the material so cost isn't a factor.

It would be a welded frame of 1" angle iron to support the 3/4 MDF base. There will be a couple of
supports as well under the MDF. MDF would be attached using countersunk bolts.

The table has to be stored vertically when not in use so it will pivot on side supports made of 3 inch channel
welded to a supporting base of 1 inch angle iron (dashed horizontal lines in the overhead view).

There will be locking wheels attached to the bottom of the frame so I
can roll it around. When the table is in the vertical position it will be held in place by a spring-loaded pin. Same
when in the horizontal position, but the table will also have supporting legs.

Thanks for the input. It will be Scaley. I did have some concerns about the weight using MDF - maybe a 1/2" ply might be better.
Being that it has to rotate vertically I'll won't be adding a lot of scenery. Maybe a few trees, a couple of buildings, etc.

Thanks Greg. The footprint of the frame on the ground will be about 1.5 feet x 8 feet 6 inches. The frame top that pivots to verticle that the 1/2" ply will
mount to is 4 x 8 feet. I need to go this route as I don't have room to have a permanent 4 x 8 foot table set up. When the table is in the verticle position I can roll it up against the wall and can manage with the 1.5 foot feet that the wheels mount too sticking out from the wall.

Also, will add that the track height will be about 30 inches

Thanks Rich. I did see this and was what prompted me to build one, but out of angle stock I have around the house.

Is that just a bolt that goes through the side of the table and the support leg? What holds it horizontal?
