[Gringo Hairpiece]

Anybody here got any experience of the Teamslot Alfa GTA's. I believe they are plastic rather than resin. What is their performance comparative to in SCX, Ninco etc.

Just that I've always loved these little cars and there is no way I could afford a real one.

HI ****** i am an alfa fan they are not that bad the body shell is plastic get rid of the running gear and axle rear wheels replace with slot it Replace front axle stubs put strait axle in use bearings and glue bearings in
its your own preference about scx dont think they do alfas

I too like Alfas, real cars and models; I have the GTA, but out of the box the performance is extremely poor and not comparable to Ninco, SCX or Scalextric; the quality of the model is also on the low side, but I like it very much, because has the feeling of the real car

; perhaps in the future I will change the running gear, who knows?

I have 2 of them and they are about the same quality as SCX. They both had slightly out of round wheels. I swapped out the motors with RX4s and used the hotter TS-3s in some of my gt cars. They handle pretty well without the traction magnet and with sillie tires (Artin track). The drivers sit too low and the result is a "lowrider" kind of look(fixable). Bodies were painted well on my 2 and there were no real issues other than the wheels.

I agree with newbie's point a vieuw and could add ; shorten the
mounting posts a little,it gives the car a better stance and helps the ride.
The slot it solution is certainly a very good one, but then I miss the alfa inserts.
But maybe someone has a good solution fot this too?
