Hi,
Yesterday took place the official testing for the forthcoming 24H of Spa.
23 cars took the track.
Among them :
The Vitaphone Konrad Saleen, 2 JMB Ferrari 575 (one black - Wendlinger at the wheel, one red - Daoudi as the main driver), 1 GPC Ferrari in the special livery for the 24H race with the INNO sponsoring - a really STRIKING livery, not at all the ugly one shown on the race's poster), 1 "works" Ferrari 575 with Mika Salo as driver - that car had development parts (especially at the rear), 2 Schnitzer BMW M3 GTR, 2 Freisinger GT3 RSR (a third one didn't take the track), several other GT3RS (Autorlando, JWR, Cirtek, ...), 2 Modena's - one entered by GPC and one entered by Cirtek, 1 PSI Porsche 996 turbo, 1 Gilet Vertigo and 1 TVR T400R.
The Saleen was the fastest car during most of the day, but at the end Salo took the best time to his credit followed by the GPC 575.
As I mentionned, the special livery GPC 575 is really great, reminding the italian flag. I really do hope that Carrera will make that livery. They HAVE TO DO IT !
Pointing the poor livery of the JMB 575 to one of their drivers, he said it would be changed soon. Great news then !
The works M3 were quite slower but ahead of the best N-GT's. In that category, the GPC 360 took the honour ahead of the Freisinger Posrches.
