Thanks to Slot Forum and the section called 'Tracks & Scenery' and the other members layouts.

I had to change my section of track called 'Pine Loop' into something more.....

I would most grateful for a small souvenir from Le Mans as I'm not going this year.

Perhaps the rear wing of the Lister LMP car when it crashes again! or some gravel to make my layout more authentic!!

.... talking of slot cars has any body tried the Scalextric Lister Storm without the magnet and does the off set motor really make a difference?

Excellent change!

I think even small elevation changes make or break a track, if only on looks.
It will be interesting to read how you feel about the improvement on driving and lap times

Thanks for comment Swissracer, the elevation was mainly to get I banked corner, it doesn't show it in the pics but it has a bit of a camber on it but not to much as to close the plastic inset rails up on the ninco track. I had a quick test my Fly Lola without magnet and it does make a big difference on how much speed you can carry though the corner. Will be adding the new Ninco corner X overs when they come out. I made a quick time movie of my track just before the change and hopefully another when he project is finished.

'Pine Loop' now finished, just enough trees so you can see the cars when they run round the back of the hill. The elevation and camber really help the lap times more with none magnet cars. Thoughts?

I'm having slight problems with heat and associated contraction/expansion of the track between my tight foam borders with wooden underlay. I'll take some photos soon and try and find a solution.
