I like your tarmac approach, I doubt it would be good for racing grip, but as you're racing on your own (sniff) I imagine you'll get more satisfaction out of the scenic pleasure it will bring! Looks great.

I agree, the Noch grass looks amazing when applied like that, your balsa fence is a beauty, have you applied many coats of color to achieve the dark stain?
