There is one model, static or slot, that has always eluded me, The Willment Cobra Coupe. As a young mechanic, I once steered it onto a trailer where I worked.

So imagine my surprise when I opened a large box of bubble wrap and not much else, only finding this fine model on my second hunt through!

Philippe Le Bras, who made the fine Chaparrals that we had on the 1/43 stand at the 2016 UK Slot Car Festival at Gaydon, has kindly made this Willment Cobra Coupe as a present for me, many thanks Phillpe!









Needless to say it will be on our stand at Gaydon in May!

The U bracket around the motor - what material is it ? And how is the second pinion fixed ?

A very nice idea, to get away from the standard inline drive and use even such a " big" motor as sidewinder.
