Yes I thought the 250F was going suprisingly well...until I discovered the magnet! But even when I took it out the car was still quite good. Very hoppy on acceleration though - Jim has prescribed a motor with a bit less oomph
The standard tyres seem pretty sticky and I am tempted to stay with them....

As for the wheels I am not sure the NSU TT qualifies - some say it didn't start racing until the seventies - anyone have any evidence of before that?

Looking forward to this event - the under and over two litre saloons are starting to go well but am having big problems with the Cartrix 250F....it jumps up and down on acceleration. I have put a 21k NSR motor in it after even worse problems with a 30k one! I have trued the tyres etc but the problems persist.
It's like the axle tramp I used to endure driving a hot Ford Anglia in the sixties.... Any suggestions anyone?

My 250F is finally running really well - Slot.It guide added after advice from young Jon and running Slot.It gears too so looking forward to this one. Slightly worried about tyre sizes on the Barracuda will have to get them checked well beforehand - and the NSU Prince is going really well....bring it on!

No worries Dave,

Because of the low numbers of attendants, the club won't be open for an official practice tommorow. I'm free from around 12-2pm tommorow, so as Ken is not available, I might be able to open up the track for any visitors willing to travel.

Doors open at 8.15am on Sunday, and racing will commence at 10.15am. F1s first followed by Saloons,

Regards
Jon

Despite the lack of numbers it was great fun. The less serious atmosphere it's really enjoyable. Thanks for organising it Jon people don't know what they are missing. Congrats to Mick and Jim and yourself for some gorgeous models
