The SCHORC/ECHO Pancake cup and G+ trophy meeting takes place on 14th August, at the spiritual home of SCHORC.

Yelling Village Hall, Yelling, Nr. St. Neots, South Cambridgeshire.

The start time is 10.30.

We will be racing, Aurora HO Magnatraction Saloon/Sports/GT and G+ F1 cars.

Full rules and specifications can be found on the SCHORC 'clubs section' page.

For the non HO racers, these chassis are old school without traction magnets, that are seldom run in this day and age.
The event is open to all and there will be cars available on the day for you to use.

So all you non magnet racers out there that think HO is all magnet and easy, come along and join us for the day, in this fun event!

The Pancake Cup event is happening on the 14th August

The cars are 'Old School' HO made by Aurora afx and are 30 years + old and still running, they have NO traction magnets

I'm really looking forward to this event. So far I've bought 3 G+ F1 cars for it but as one is the Tyrrell and the Ferrari and McLaren both have their wing mirrors still, I am tempted to buy a further "worse condition" body for racing purposes. It would be a real shame to damage the other three!

I have two Magnatractions for the Pancake Cup itself with a Datsun and Escort bodyshell respectively. Not done a lot to them beyond a strip and clean. I'll just bung some silicones on and hope for the best!

I've got a whole selection of magnatractions and a variety of bodies, but will probably go with a Plymouth Roadrunner, I've got one G+ F1 car, got several Can Ams and Porsches, including a brand new never been used Porsche RSR but only 1 F1, so it'll be doing it's best, which isn't very good.

I've been running the Tyrrell and I love it. It is pretty quick in a straight line and fairly grippy in the corners. But, I shan't make any predictions until I have another test of Tony's Ferrari G+ as I remember that that was incredibly good.

Trophy's collected yesterday, one for the 'Pancake Cup', and one for the 'G+Trophy', both engraved appropriately.

Wishful thinking there

I think beating him with a frying pan would be more effective.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

You mean it sounded a bit pompous and with an over inflated sense of its own worth?
