After having my last track for three years I decided on totally starting again.
For me slot cars are more about model making than the racing. I enjoy a few Sunday laps but very rarely have a race night.
My old track was a mixture of sport and classic and included the old classic pit lane, LeMann start and Goodwood Chicane.

My new track is much simpler and will eventually focus more on the scenary.
Its also designed to fold up as I have an old car and may need the space to do work on her over the winter.
Here are a few shots of the early stages.

Table folded up.

So far I have completed just about an 1/8th of the track.

Cheers Geoff

Nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice!!!!!

It really is those little details that make it so much more interesting. How did you do the gargoyle over the door of the tower?

This is where we need a like button, great photo, bet you can't wait to get the tape off those rails

everyone hits the brakes, the officer knows who they all are, and meets them down the pub that night to have a quiet word! Well that's how it used to be

Why do I feel like I've just dropped in on the set of Heartbeat or something similar? Great photo.

Thanks once again, the tape has to come off soon as th e track has been out of use since October 2011. I've got about six cars I've not used yet. But filling in the gaps takes longer than making the buildings.
I reckon those two will get a telling off in the Slot Inn

I don't watch it, but the first few seasons are being played for about the 3rd time.

In the West Midlands we have had the loads of rain in the last month or so.
This has meant adding extra drainage to the track.

The good news is Ive taken the tape of a few more bits of track.
Doing the small gaps around the track seems never ending.
