Yeah, but blowing them means replacing the lot whereas doing the fix means just adding a resistor.

You are right about them being a bargain though.

I need to fit LED's on a SCX car, however having done this mod on an old spare car the lights keep getting brighter as more power is applied and i suppose a voltage regulator would prevent this. If this is the case can anyone please tell me the specification and how to wire it up and i will give it ago.

Well. The 100 ohm resistor protected the lights for about 10 minutes.

Waste of time.
