QUOTE (montoya1 @ 2 Jan 2012, 16:56) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I think the M open wheeler lines up OK with the T chassis, is there some other reason it does not fit?
Depth
QUOTE How strict are the 'Group C' rules since that yellow jobbie is a can-am?
If memory serves me correct I think last year there were other cars other than Group C, even can-ams
QUOTE Are you allowed to fit other makes of bodies?
*BODIES:
In principal overall width 34mm although we know some stock bodies are
MARGINALLY wider - e.g. Tomy GT40's, some Tyco Nascars - and will not be banned
No lowering or lightening.
No vac-form bodies.
Hard plastic or resin bodies that fit using the original chassis manufacturers body mounts.
I.E. clip on. (NO Velcro, double sided tape, Blutak pin mounts etc. No internal body mods)
All must have windows represented. I.E. not body colour
Where drivers are visible on open cars, they must be detailed.
With the exception of wing mirrors and the 'winglet' spoilers on 917's all originally
supplied body parts must be attached - front and rear bumpers, separate window glass and
headlights, spoilers, roof racks!, etc.
Rear spoilers can be flexibly mounted.
Front spoilers on F1 cars are preferred and can be reinforced (or replaced) with sheet
plastic if the originals are lost. However, they can be left off once damaged.*
Is that clear?
It's got me baffled too, doesn't say if you can use bodies from other manufacturers!
Don't even get the bit about the fastening, starts by saying clip on then says velcro, double sided etc.
