Why oh why would anyone want to make a slot car too narrow for its scale. Slot cars are best wide and low yet Revell and Carrea both chose to make the tall and top heavy 60's stockers only 56mm wide when they should be at least 60mm (Fairlane/Torino) to 64mm (Galaxie) wide? Not only do they look silly visually but they handle terribly. They should be comparable in width to a Le Mans car to look right as well as handle well. The Revell and Carrera stockers are great in every other detail but I hate that they are too narrow. Can someone tell me why they would spend all that money to make them yet produce them too narrow?
