I've persauded my wife to allow me to set up a perm track. Now I need help with the design. Below are the dimensions on the tables I'm going to use. Want a 4-lane Scaly Sport track with borders/barriers and room for a bot of scenery. I'm more than happy with over passes etc. but its main point is racing, so clear views essential.

I realise the pic is a bit basic but hopefully it is clear enough - if not let me know and I'll try to do better!

Any help/ideas appreciated

one thing i considered when designing mine was to make it eeasy to drive as most of my friends are not into slots but like to get inthere after a few beers.

If you need more room for the scenery you can remove the "S" after (clockwise) the right hairpin. Let me know what you think ...

John - I have to agree. I tend to build quite tricky circuits and I wipe the floor quite easily - good ego massager! However building simpler to learn circuits does make it that bit more even and therefore fun.

Fred - thats was quick - appreciated. I'll try it out tonight. I prefer more track to scenery. I've also got a little cubby hole along one of the straights, that I did not show, that I'm going to put a pit lane construction in

have set it up and made the esses wit R2 and R3 to make them a bit more of a challenge. It is easy to get in to a nice rhythm on the track and my mates can get up to a decent speed w/o coming off pretty quickly so it helps racing.

I'm some R3 short though so lanes 3/4 are incomplete. I'm selling some cars to justify a pre Chrimbo splurge on more track!

Got all the track I needed and played around with the set-up and got one that I like. Even started on a pitlane and on a tree production line.

You're busted....That's a big no-no to leave the controller like that..

Lucky for you it's laying with the adjusting knobs pointed up. If it was the other way, the knobs will short across the rails, and you will soon smell something burning. And it'll leave a bunch of neat holes in a row in your track. Don't ask how I know this...

if he desnt reply, start scouwering the picture for the sensor tracks for SportsWorld, that will make it certain hes knicked (i mean, got hold of) a world set!

ok, so he shouldnt have a sports world power box, but does? and doesnt want us to know/tell..... either scalextric dont want us to know hes got one, or dont know hes got one at all...... either way, could you at least give us some feedback on if its any good?

I'm beta testing it to help Scaly iron out the inevitable bugs with new developments. I really like it and my son thinks its cool. It will be a product most home racers will really benefit from having.
