Greetings from the States. New Jersey to be exact. After doing tons of research on you're site, I built a ABSLotSport PNP controller. I must say, It works so well I sold my Third eye Renegade.
I am using for now a 35 ohm Parma resistor. My question is what determines using a 10 ohm pot for sensitivity and choke? Ive noticed there are far more 100 OHM POTS AVAILABLE than the 10 ohm Cermet im using.
I would love some theory and or comments about deciding what ohm pot to use. Is there a formula based on the rating of the SC board or resistor..?

Kind Regards, John from Jersey

The ratio between the sensitivity pot and the main resistor is important.
If a 100 ohm pot were used with that 35 ohm resistor, all the useful sensitivity settings would be right at one end of the pot rotation.

Look at Chris Frost's site for an explanation of how some common types of transistorised controllers work.
