trouble with variable power..

Hi.
I earlier wrote about problems with some cars being different to control, it was in some way sorted
with another throttle profile in RSC64. This problem is a little different since it affects all cars.
Quite often I have trouble with running the cars because the power is not stable, this affects the speed of the cars in
different sections on the track, the cars can go from normal speed to suddenly go very fast, without the throttle is pressed further.
I have about 17 meters of track with two Hornby power supplies. Hope for some advice

What have you done to maintain/enhance continuity, or power distribution from the base to other parts of the track? Have you crimped all the rail tabs at the joins? Have you installed power jumpers/taps around the track?

What have you done to enhance conductivity, or the power transfer from the track to the car? Most SSD users find that a drop of INOX MX3 on the braids, or carefully applied to the rails around the track greatly enhances conductivity.

Those two things, together, have massive effects on the performance of cars. If either one is not considered and taken care of, then car performance will suffer.

After, and only after, both of those things are taken care of, is it worth considering providing more power to the track via a larger power supply and a modification to the power base.

I think the problem is solved.
I read a topic about some similar issues and tested the throttles.
The one I normally use wouldn't go in a steady line when I pressed the trigger, it was
like going to full speed almost immediate. When I did the same test with another throttle
it was more steady going from low to high speed. Tested the throttles while holding the cars rear end over the track.
So I put some WD40 on a cotton stick and cleaned the metal where the throttle inside is moving, wiped it dry and now
its running like the other throttle, and the car is not going crazy

Hope it will be enough to tame the cars
