Don't know about the Lola (too many mods - who puts modern rally wheels on a classic sports car?), but the 917 is good. I have that exact car and it is great fun without the magnet. Don't know why the bodywork had to be altered to let the wheels turn - as with all Fly classic side-winders a simple washer keeps the axle in place. Judging by the Lola I guess the owner is a tinkerer (untalented), but no mug one assumes since the starting bid had to go in at over £15.
I know one of the bidders, so might find out more after the auction closes.
And it is on eBay Australia, yet emanates from Belgium? Curious
