Seems like a lot of work went into that mold! Looks like a must, since I'd like to try the TSRF chassis too.

There is a third feasible livery : the one used during the FIA Sportcars championship races.

The body looks great. Topslot and Vanquish have announced that car as well. Could you be bothered to buy a resin body of a car that is available in RTR form ?

My experience (or rather my dealer's one) tells me that once a RTR car is available, bodies don't find any buyer anymore. Past experiences : Topslot's BMW V12LMR and Toyota GTone.

 

MTR32 makes a very nice 1/32nd scale vacuum-formed 2001 Pescarolo Courage C60 Peugeot as well as the 2001 SMG Courage C60 Judd.

This is a must have as far as I'm concerned.

The TSRF chassis is the best I've tried.

Our club has just started racing TSRF and I was looking foward to the Spirit Courage Peugeot so I might kill two birds with one stone and invest in one of these. Anyone know a stockist and what RRP will be for a RTR one.

Is this a TSRF resin 1/24 body that they are going to sell? Sure hope so because I want one for sure. Any other LMP's (in resin) down the road???

The decal sheet is huge as decals cover nearly all the car in the 2003 version. The vac-formed versions will be available through standard TSRF retailers.
There will be only 150 pre-painted kits and 250 standard kits available.
Once we figure how much everything costs, we will establish the actual retail pricing.

Well, let see. I am an old guy, retired comfortably from a fairly successful business. I can either go live in St Petersburg and play boules, or I can do things I like, such as showing to the "Big Uns" that some small-time fellow can out-design them with 1/1000th of the money.
I can also do things just because i like to do it, regardless of the money aspect.
But all the above is actually plain BS: the Courage bodies WERE supposed to be a money maker, but the Euro gained 40% over the Dollar in the meantime, killing THIS cash cow.
So what was supposed to cost me about $60.00 then is now costing me $90.00!
So what can I do? Only one thing, sell at no profit.

So these things are going to exist in 3 versions:

1/ un-finished body kit with resin-cast body, wing, dashboard, steering wheel, under tray diffusers, side mirrors, on-board fire estinguisher, 2-piece driver plus helmet visor pattern, vac-formed cockpit, etched metal parts including wing plates, gas caps, decals and body-mounting brass inserts and screws for direct mounting on TSRF24 chassis. These may also be mounted on many other chassis including Momo, White Point, Plafit or scratchbuilt...

2/ Same as above but with finished and painted body, brass inserts installed.

3/ Same but mounted on a TSRF24 chassis with etched metal BBS wheel inserts.

I am still waiting for the boxes and the final cost calculations and they will be ready to ship.

remember, you've a standing order for this car! But due to import duties I've to add some more stuff to this order - they charge 26 bucks just for handling - VAT is 6.5%.
Please add 2 chassis 1/32 and 1 chassis 1/24 - execution like last order - to the body - and send 2 bodies - one painted and one kit please.
I NEED THIS CAR!!!!

I can recommend the TSRF-1/24 chassis for every scratchbuilder! The only thing to take care about - there is VERY little clearance below!

 

Yes, the clearance is only 1/16" or 1.5" in 1/1 scale for the 1/24 car, and 2" for the 1/32 scale. It is patterned after the clearance of modern race cars when in full flight, I.E. with down force applied. It also folows the general racing rules of pro-racing until these guys went onto a near-zero clearance...

The down side is that when used on Carrera banking, the front end of the steel pan will drag and must be trimmed. Also it requires a slight 'blip" over the Carrera bridge.

Unfortunately we had to make choices, as an all-around compromise would have disappointed the segment of hobbyists we were trying to reach.

...Philippe, that's no problem - I won't use the Carrera-bridge in a serious racetrack - and banked curves only up from radius 2. And there are no problems!
