On a Ninco home track:

Picked up the Ninco Pajero and Pro Trucks this last week. Huge amounts of fun. They are both quite tall so to drop the centre of gravity I have selected lead strips mounted below the frame longitudinally between the front and back wheels.

I have disregarded magnets completely, as the chassis is so far off the track.

Has anyone seen a benefit between the soft, medium and hard springs on a smooth Ninco home track.

Any other ideas ?

I reviewed the mits pajero (owned by Integrali now) for next months Getslotted Tuckers Tips and I did not do anything to the car other than remove the mag and oil the axle - it ran great - very impressed. It had medium springs front and back.

From what I've heard/read the best set up in terms of suspension:
1) run with obstacles; soft(front)/soft(rear)
2) run w/o obstales: soft/hard

Note the mag holder on the pajero meant the magnet was only about 2mm off the track and so it did provide a significant effect but I could not see any benefit of the suspension with a magnet in.
