Ok, neck on the line.

I will provide six cars for a 12 hour endurance. They will be mine so I want them back at the end.
I am more than confident that they will be absolutely fine at the end. Just stick new tyres on them and use them for racing.

How does that sound?

They did race TA cars for 12 hours at Sebring amongst others.

Right, we seem to be getting somewhere.

Date proposed is 13th March.
Proceeds are going to The Make a Wish Foundation http://www.make-a-wish.org.uk/ and a local memorial fund.

Can all those interested please add their name to this thread or PM either me or Keef921

Start time 9.00am

There are 6 lanes and you can have as many as you like in a team.

Just had another thought.

For all those that can't attend, you could still help.

Last year the total amount of laps for all cars was 12,210.

For £2.50 you can send in a guess of what you think this years total will be and the SF member with the closest guess will receive one of the cars that will be used on the day.

Oh dear, with you two taking past laps will be under 10,000 this year! Ha ha ha ha.

Just heard from Jules, he is supplying Pioneer stuff for us all to race. Yipee!

Well done, and thankyou Jules.

Just need to sign up some racers now.
I have contacted M-A-W and have a few tips for promotion on the way.

Will, can you set up a paypal account to accept paymaent for lap guesses please.

I'm sure we could sort it to accommodate when people can be there. Is it just you Sandy, or will you bring the boy?

Anyone else that would take part if it didn't mean spending the whole day there please let us know.

The event has been submitted to two local radio stations so hopefully we will get some response.
Gosport club have also been contacted, they usually get a team together.

So, confirmed is.

I have just got back from a weekend with some old friends, I mentioned it to them and they seemed up for it. They are all novices so if people are ok with it then we will see who turns up and make up teams of fairly equal ability.

Thanks to all that are putting their names up for entry though, really pleased with the response seeing as though we are trying to organise this at such short notice.

Careful Jim, it's starting to look like you're taking it serious.
Maybe we should start looking at putting teams together and if we get extras arrive on the day then we can look at what is the best way to squeeze them in.

So come on then guys start sorting yourselves out and put your team up on this thread .

So far we have.

I think it would be good if teams were submitted by 20th Feb and entry fees paid, then we know how many lanes are going to be used so we can get some guesses in for the total laps.

Last years total was 12,210. That was on 4 lanes. 12,210 / 4 = 3052.5

So, average laps / lane is just over 3000. It looks like we will have 6 teams this year. 6 x 3000ish =18,315

Guesses for winning a Pioneer car should be in the region of 18,000 then.

I'm with Keith. Proabably Alan as well, maybe a n other if we need to put 4 in a team. That could be Trigger I 'spose.
I take it you're with Kev then Jim? Will you have Sandy in your team? He probably knows you the best/longest.

Now that would be funny as, I bet a few of us could own up to being the poor left out bugger on the playground.
Hopefully, looking at the entry list, there won't be too much "me first, me first, red lane, NO RED LANE I SAID"
Be a shame not to have you taking part though Jimmer. I'm sure we wn't have that many peeps.

Keith, can you collect any remaining entry fees tonight? Team Saga Sport have paid, team Clarkey have paid and team Pressbutton have paid.

So that leaves team Liphook and Team Clanfield of the 5 definite teams we have.

Are we doing the 'everyone bring a bit of something' or every man for himself?

If it's the former then we don't want 120 cakes and nothing else, though it doesn't sound that bad.
