Wambulance, that info above is interesting. Thanks. Do you want the photos I took in 2011? Mind you, their not much good. Mostly of copper tape.

Andy, a few of you favourite pics would be great, however my overly extensive collection of "pictures of copper tape" is not currently in need of expansion.

Just be thankful I crashed the car in the 9th hour - if I hadn't I know I could have got really annoying about how Endurance Racing could* be run to Crash & Burn rules. Still kicking myself about that!

Pete's lap record would have come from racing one of his favourite cartoon cars in the Open Class on a club night. This is definitely the first time the 12 hour has had any sub-10 second laps. My "numbers OCD" means I still recall the lap records for the first three 12 hours.

Ninco NSXs 10.05 (Standard tyres)
Hornby GT 10.39 (Ortmanns)
SCX GT 10.25 (Ortmanns)

Then it was Carrera and Pioneer which were a fair bit slower, obviously.

Incidentally I was right the other night - if you do a search on "Bolwextric" in the Events section here on the forum you can find some more about the other 12 hours we have done. Mainly Scott bragging about winning the SCX one

* Obviously I realise it wouldn't be wise to run an endurance race to Crash & Burn rules, it's just another case of me being a wind-up merchant
