Took these two out of their boxes for a service & a polish up with Autoglym Super Resin Polish.
They`ve came up really well.
Cheers,
Kev.

super resin polish is the daddy! my preferred choice anyway. brought this old girl up a treat.

however , this old sl needs a bit more than just polish. safe to say though that autoglym will finish the paint off on this one too!

cheers kev. it turned out to be a really nice example under a layer of grime. one of my better ebay bargains.
QUOTE (SL0TCAR @ 31 May 2012, 21:27) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Thanks for sharing that Kev.... You know what? I've been using the wife's furniture polish to bring my old Scalextric models up for a while and yet I use Autoglym Super Resin Polish on my car? I swear by it, so why did I not think of that? From now on I'm going to start using it on my models.
Looking at your pics it does really bring them up very well.

Billy

bear in mind though that super resin polish is very slightly abrasive. older decals may not respond well to its attention. execise a little caution on anything other than plain shells.
on the flip side though....it is pretty useful for "refreshing" clear plastics.
