Tyneside Slot Car Club proudly opened its gates to to their brand new dedicated MDF routed rally circuit this evening. Designed and built by one of the clubs founding members; Paul Fletcher, the circuit was completed last weekend and witnessed its first 'Special Stage' action during the evenings championship club night.

The track features on and off road surfaces combined with a number of challenging raised hump back bridge sections.

The Special Stage Rally Circuit will be next in action on TSCCs Rally Night; June 22nd.

Thanks, Dave.
Your main track looks like a modified Barcelona/Catalunya layout.
Care to share the dimensions (L x W and lane lengths)?

Yes, Langley is about 1/2 hour from my home and one of the fastest growing communities around here.
FYI, the Langley hobby store I have visited has decided to STOP carrying slot car stuff and focus on model railroads and plastic models.... another LHS off my list!

Cheers!

Hi sealevel

Thanks for your comments.

Your right, the main circuit is based on a modified Catalunya layout, I designed it with that in mind as its my favourite circuit

The overall dimentions of the main track are 20ft x 8ft and lane length is about 70ft.
