I've just tried it with no magnet and am experiencing the exact same problem.

Cheers for the advice Jonny,
I can confirm mine is gonna go like stink as well. The way it is driving with a few teething problems I can feel once I iron them out it will fly.
I've raised the Magnet up so it can't bind onto the track.
Anyway,back to the problem. A friend came and had a look and I think we've solved the problem. We are gonna try a slightly larger Wheel hub which should arrive today(For his TVR)Then put the existing ones I have onto the front with some Skinny tyres.
I'll stick with the original GT40 tyres on the rear as I've ground them down and trued them very well and they did impress me the other night.
You'll be pleased to know that 3 of us will be coming in my party.Was gonna be 6 but the 2 boys dad is away working in Sweden and they aren't allowed to come with us "irresponsible" 25 year olds.
