The Farnham Slot Association cordially invites members of the SlotForum to the South East leg of the UK 'Faces to Names' Tour 2003.
The track is a 110' 4-lane Ninco without braking. Silicone tyres are permitted but not recommended. All cars, except for tyres, to be box stock except where noted below. Weight / Ballast is permitted. Racing is Crash and Burn, you come off the track or out of the slot and you are out of the race!
Proposed date and time is Saturday 8th November 2003 from 4.30 PM to 7.30 PM (ish).
We propose to run six different classes if numbers and time permits which is to include;
Non Mag Rally Any rally car from any manufacturer. 2WD or 4WD. Magnet to be removed.
Ninco GTR Any NC1 powered GTR car from Ninco, the smart money is always on the McLaren F1 GTR. Ferrite magnets only.
Le Mans GT / LMP Any GT or LMP car. For example, Fly Viper, Fly Lister, SCX Audi R8 or Slot.it Audi R8C. With supplied neo magnet.
Ninco Go Karts With or without rear aerofoil.
Non Mag DTM Any DTM car new or old with the magnet removed.
Ninco Classic Any Ninco car from the classic range. No Magnet.
Club cars for all classes are available for use as are Parma 45 Ohm economy controllers. If you want to bring your own controllers they need to be fitted with 2 amp three pin plugs.
Please email me to let me know you are attending and for directions to the club. We are rather limited for space so please do let us know if you are coming so we can keep it fun for everyone.
