We are looking for 6 teams to take part in the Scaleauto Top Team Challenge on the Saturday.

The endurance race will take place over 3 hours on the excellent ex Llantrisant track.

Teams need to be made up of a minimum of 3 and maximum of 6 members.

Just to make it even better giving you no excuses not to take part is that Scaleauto will prepare and supply the cars.

So if you want the chance to be the Scaleauto Top Team enter here please.

The cars will be supplied and prepared for all teams.

The only rules which need clarifying is as to how long each stint is going to be (I.e. driver change mandatory after 30 minutes).

The planned structure of the race will be as follows:

Cars supplied by Scaleauto

Min 3 team members, max 6

1 driving, 1 marshalling and 1 mechanic at all times

6 lanes, 30mins on each lane.

Each driver must race, min of 30 mins

You must use the car and parts supplied, you can change braid.

Tyres must be dry, no residue left on a piece of white paper, before starting

You will have 1hr practice/prep time

Cars must be presented to race control for scutineering of any prep before race starts - this must be done in the hours practice/prep time.

If you fail to get a scrutineered car to the grid by start time you will race a handout car.

Once started, cars are in parc ferme conditions, so any fixing, tuning must be done under racing conditions and not in changeover times.

If your car fails beyond repair you can race a handout car, but a 25 lap penalty will apply.

Penalties for inappropriate behaviour (swearing etc) will be applied and will be at the discretion of race control and be a min of 5 laps deducted.

Furthest distance over the 3 hours of racing wins the accolade of being Scaleauto Team Champion.

Thought cars were going to be prepared for us (post 13), not a problem, we have good development team, but woud like to know what cars we have choice of, and what spares will be supplied please.
