Hi all,

I have just had some very exiting news from Sean at Pendle Slot Racing, He has now purchased our old
Llantrisant Slot Car Club Track!.

Although there is a bit of refurbishment required on the track. (It has been out of commission for a few years) they are going to get it back to its former glory, I cant think of anyone else that would do the job better.

In conjunction with this, Sean has asked if we would like to hold a non points scoring round of our popular Wales & West series at the UK Slot Festival at Gaydon.
Having a chance to race on the old track again I jumped at the opportunity. I know that a lot of drivers have asked me if it would ever get used again so I am sure we will get a lot of interest.

Entry fee would be £5.00, this would be used to cover the cost of trophies etc.
Priority would be given to registered 2014 drivers if the event will be over subscribed.

May I take this opportunity in thanking Sean in asking us to run a round a Gaydon, I am sure it will not only promote the Wales and West series but slot car racing in general.

Hi Steve.

I will come and race as long as I don't get a last minute swap meet table.
I believe all the tables are sold out for both days, so it is most likely I will be able to race.
Do you know if it will be 'mk 1' Lanny, or the longer 'Mk2' version?

Thanks lads for the update. Not sure yet Bill, track is undergoing some refurbishment at the moment.
We will have to wait and see the final result at the festival. At least it should be a fairly neutral track for everyone.
Cant wait to race on it though.........may want to take it home with me!
