I am pleased to have been asked to once again give a presentation at this years UK Slot Festival. In fact I have been asked to give two.

I will also have copies of my book 'The Slot Car Handbook' available for sale, or if you already have a copy I am happy to sign it if you wish. There will also be an announcement and details of my forthcoming book, 'Digital Slot Car Racing in 1/32 scale'.

For the first of these, I will be giving a talk and demonstration on the steps involved for preparing and tuning your slot cars, covering theory and practice of things like tyre tuning, motor running in and much more.

For the second talk, I am open to suggestions. I can either give the same talk - so people who are there for only a part of the day can catch it - or perhaps a more detailed look at some things, or alternative topics like circuit design. I could perhaps do a digital presentation related to the forthcoming book. Let me know if you have some preferences to the content of the second talk.

Thanks Mick, things have since been re-planned, so I will be giving one presentation on tuning at 2:30 pm in the talks room, primarily on tuning and setup; depending how many people attend, I can customise the material for the interests of those present. I will also have a first impression draft copy of the first 2 chapters of the new book (Digital Slot Car Racing) for people to see if they are interested.
