Malcolm Scotto & Myself are considering putting on a 1/32 truck Grand Prix at the Wolverhampton International Raceway possibly on Saturday 26th February. (On the four lane wooden track) The entry would be limited to around 32 people (if we get sufficient interest). The trucks to be used are Fly/GB Track or SCX Only, with NO non-manufacturer parts or tyres permitted. We would hopefully put some time aside for display and racing of scratch built and custom trucks, but they would not be allowed in the Grand Prix itself. I need responses from interested parties by next Wednesday to allow us to decide if we are going ahead with this and confirm the event by Saturday 8th of January. Ideally again as with Mac's Early Bird event there would be a chance for socialising, and free running on the clubs Ninco plexy track during the main event.

Thanks Kai - the idea with the rules was to keep it simple, you can use any fly bits on a fly truck, and any SCX bits on an SCX one.
Best Regards
Phil.

Well it looks like trucks are a no go then, not enough of you out there MAN enough eh? Suggestions for an alternative event, maybe a pre 1965 Le Mans open event, group B or historic rally, or a CAN-AM challenge perhaps.
If we can muster enough interest we can arrange something.

Sorry, I hadn't noticed this tread before.

We briefly Truck Series up here at Pendle. It was good fun. Myself, my brother and a friend all have our own as do a couple of other members.

Sorry about not seeing this earlier.

All the Best,
James
