I just spent the past hour designing my track, and it was a cracker if I don't say so my self

Went to save the track and.........WAMM the program crashes.

I know I know before anyone says it I should have saved as I went along.

Just thought I'd have a quick rant.

Oh the joys of computers.

At least it didn't happen when it was all just laying track on the floor. Unless the roof collapsed. Or Mum came into the room calling dinner time.

I have had different experiences with UR3.0 depending on which computer I am using, so do not think the program is broken.
However, as a word to the wise, try installing the LAST version (not the current one) and it should be very stable.
This has been my experience with both this and other programs.

Goes along with, "buy the last model car before the design changes since the new ones will not work perfectly out of the gate!"

Cheers!

I find that UR crashes sometimes when I go to use the "Make these completely miles apart from each other ends meet up" button.
It also appears to crash and want to send a report to Bill practically every time I close it, especially if I click "no" in response to the "save changes?" prompt.

Still, worth every penny, I reckon

QUOTE (uksqueezea @ 30 Nov 2011, 06:21) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>At least it saved you from being one of those people who design a track using that software and then never build it.

That would put you in the same camp as George Michael. You know, ..writing and singing all those beautiful love songs while all the while thinking about another bloke.
