oddly enough out of the 100 (I really need to stop counting them ) or so chipped cars I have, the only 2 chip failures were with an SCX marenello ! , third chip has been succesful , no changes made to the installation method either ??

I am sourcing some diodes now ,want to put this to a test , modded chip versus standard in the same car , when done I will measure and compare lap times and top speed (new Hot Wheels radar gun)

farnell is in sydney , not sure of countersales though , I occasionally order over the phone for work purposes , also RS are located in each state , looking in catalogs farnell has the best selection of diodes , including the ones RichG has used and a host of other selections.
