Hi!

Took some comparison pictures of FLY Vipers A83 and A207 and wrote an article to fill our webpage. The article can be found here Unfortunately the text is in finnish but pictures are nice.

Could some of you racers help me improve my article by telling me how the "old" Viper compares to the "new" one. Which one has better driveability and feel, with and without magnets. All comments appreciated.

Last picture of the Vipers. Storm is rising, first droplets are hitting my camera lens. I´ll have to find shelter soon.

Cheers!

Excellent photos! Can we have a copy of that review in English for the Forum?

As for driveability, the new version will out perform the old in all ways, with or without magnet.

Tyre compound is different, chassis works better, gearing is better set up for the motor and car overall, motor is alot hotter, motor/chassis layout allows for more tuning options - the list goes on.

However I am fairly certain the new chassis could easily be fitted to an old body to make them compatible OR you could really annoy the guys at Fly and sit both on Slot.it HRS chassis!
(the best solution for high performance no magnet driving)

TSRF also do a good chassis that will fit fine but it is usually far too much for the average home track especially with the standard transformers given with home sets.

Hi!

Thanks for your kind words. I will translate and post improved version of this article to SlotForum. Will take few days. Should be easy to translate since it is a simple comparison article.

Cheers!
