Sad to say there are no specific slotshops.
There is one shop that sells plenty of Scalextric as well as RC stuff

There are the usual model shops selling various bits and pieces.

There are two online retailers here one each for 1/32 RTR and 1/24 metal chassis with some 1/32 stuff included( Mr slotcar and NSR)

As far as I know there only casual groups racing RTR stuff in Auckland (which surprises me) and there is a dedicated 1/24 club in Henderson(west Auckland)
