Hi All,

We should have all the dates for next years championship by the end of this year. Just 3 dates to confirm.
Phil should have these soon.
For the 2012 championship we have introduced another class NSR Classics, which means we will run the Ninco Gt in the morning segment and the NSR championship in the afternoon ....or vice versa.
Keith has very kindly written a comprehensive set of rules for the NSR class and they will be published soon.
Round 1 is at the superb North Staffs track February 16th.

I have printed posters with all the info on and as soon as I get the other dates I will post them out to the participating clubs
so they can display them at their venues.

Best regards,

Steve/Phil

Hay guys some setup tips for you to have a look at:

NSR Classics
Tyres: NSR Ultra Grips are best but Super Grip work fine, Glued/Trued and lightly oiled with 3in1.
Pinion is 11 tooth as set so 30 or 32 gear would be recommended
No weight is required but if you want to add a little just behind the front axle would be best.
The cars are pretty much out of the box so not much can be changed if there is anything more specific you want to know let me know.

Ninco
Tyres: Ninco prorace 19/10 on 15/8 wheels work best, Glued/Trued and lightly oiled with 3in1
Gearing 11/32 with 25K Motor Scaleauto or 12/32 with 21k Motor Slot.it Boxer
Moslers work best as they do at most tracks
2.5 to 5 grams of weight at the front of the car and I would recommend the prorace guide for your car.
If you need any further specific setup info just let me know.

Best Wishes
Shaun

Cheers

You can also use NSR hubs as well. But as Phil says only Ninco standard or Pro Race Tyres only in the Ninco Class.

Just to Reiterate only Black Motor Mounts to be used in the NSR Classic Championship. If your car comes with a red or any other colour it must be changed to black.

Cheers,

Steve.

Hi All,

Mal rang me asking about the motor mount rule. Sorry to confuse drivers but NSR have just brought out a P68 with a red
motor mount, Mal also said that some of the newer NSR cars also come with the red mount. I know we said that this
competition was for out of the box cars and until NSR released those few anomalies all the rules were pretty straight forward.

Phil and I had a discussion regarding the mounts and decided because of the majority of cars had the black mounts we would ban the red ones.
Not sure if there is any advantage or not fitting the red but what we didn't want is for drivers having to pay out for additional red ones if there was an advantage.

Any queries please do not hesitate to contact us. See you all next week!!!!

If anyone wants to swap a red one for a black one I know a few people going to Italy that would be happy to oblige

Keith

Hi Steve

On the subject of the red mount, am I right in understanding that if you are only running as a guest driver i.e. not registered for the championship you can run with the red mount as supplied?

Cheers,

Kev
Hi Kev,

Thats correct, if guest for the day red mount maybe used.

Cheers
Phil.

Hi All,

Time fly' s by so quickly, cannot believe the first round of this years Wales and West is nearly upon us!!!

Hope everyone is all ready for the first race on Sunday. It looks to be a very full grid. Our website has full rules and regs which has just been updated
with a few added bits. Namely Slotting Plus Hubs allowed in the Ninco Cup and regards to strengthening the rear of the Ninco chassis any material can now be used.
You all know about the red motor mounts in the NSR class. Only Guest drivers are allowed to use them as they wont be scoring any points.

Any queries don't be afraid to ask.

Regards,

Steve.
