I have two brand new Carrera cars for sale.

Bently Speed 8 (leMans)

Audi R8 (leMans)

£15 each.

They are perfect for racing against each other as they are very evenly matched. They have adjustable magnets, right from stuck to the track to no magnets at all (and everything in between). They also have polarity switches so that you can choose which way you run them round the track.

Hiya,

If you want some good cheap cars - I got some indy (similar to F1) cars from scalextric. I know you are looking for second hand cars - but brand new these are available in the from shops at £15. They are available in several liveries. They ran well straight from the box - so if u r new to tuning, it doesnt matter, and they look fast when they fly round the track.

PS - have you tried e-bay for cars?

Additionally to above advice regarding the Carrera track from Argos which is a really fantastic offer - you can get scalextric single seaters (simple formula cars) for 10 pounds each (full price) or you can go to one of the 'toy-zone' shop as they sometimes sell those single seaters for around 5 pounds each.

oh I almost forgot - I think that 'rails of sheffield' sells some scalextric ww buggy for 10 pounds each as well - and those cars include lights...

Rails of Sheffield also used to have some of the Scalextric Valvoline NASCARs for £3.99 brand new but unboxed. If you cut off the two small button magnets and glue a Fly bar magnet in their place, then you will have some very, very fast cars which will stick to the track like glue.

You can reach Rails on: 0114 2551436

Good Luck

Would go along with the NASCAR idea. Really good cars to start racing , very strong and good fun.

Although I can't beat the prices above, (which are great value for money), there were several on ebay last night for around the eight pound mark. Still very good value for money.

Regards

Alan
