It is exceeding slow but I just make a cup of coffee while it trundles its way to the next page. You would think a big firm like Hornby would have a website that didn't slow to a crawl just because a few extra people were looking at it.
It's all America's fault apparently. Dave Kennedy has taken over the operation out there and he seems to be enthusing the whole population. He says the site has been beefed up but obviously not enough. I tried the link and it too 2 minutes to tell me there was a bad gateway! It's crashed.
I was browsing the new range at 2pm, and the site was pretty sluggish, but functional. Legend has it that the Hornby Trains range for 2019 has been released at the same time, so it's all those anoraks clogging it up
