Hi David

I've shelved my Lotus 25 build for the Wolves "Half Tonner" event in November in favour of persuing a Jackie Stewart theme.

As you'll know I've already built most of the F! JYS Tyrrells and now I've most of the bits put together for a Matra MS10 and MS80.

I'm also going to build a BRM P261 similar to your gourgeous example here and I'd like to know what wheels and tyres you've used please?

I used 15" wheels on my BRM which wasn't strictly accurate as they ran on 13", the inserts were turned down MRRC wheels which approximate the BRM wheel but again weren't strictly accurate - the overall impression was OK though.

Colin at RS Slotracing has the correct size front and rear 13" wheels and tyres for 1964/65 F1 cars and I think he does the inserts for BRM as well.

Dart Hobbies out of Canada also has a good selection of .375" inserts including the fronts and backs for the BRM P261.
